What were you doing before you started with DA and when/why did you join the team?

Prior to joining DAC in October 2000, I worked at a marketing agency and prior to that did inside sales assistance selling loading dock equipment & overhead doors. I joined DAC as I wanted to get back into inside sales but also because I liked their philosophy of being family first and promoting a quality of life. This was important to me as I had 3 young children when I started with them.

What characteristics make you excel at your job?

I am detail-oriented, honest, reliable and a bit of a perfectionist.

What is a quality about you that isn’t obvious at first?

I am very shy.

What is a talent you possess or one of your hobbies that people are impressed by?

I am a very fast reader and have been known to read a complete book in one sitting. I also am good with naming a tune (song and artist) with a few notes or lines (with country and rap being the exception).

When you have some spare time, or plan a future event, what is your go-to?

In my spare time, I love to read – mostly mysteries and suspense. When planning a future event, it usually involves music – I love going to concerts or music festivals.

Who are your favorite people to spend time with and why?

My kids and grandchildren are tops – I have 5 grandchildren and love spending time with them to help build memories.
