From large and complex HVAC systems to the smallest task, if it is worth doing it is worth doing well. Our foundation and recipe for success is humility and keeping our focus outward. We work to live, and believe that a high quality of life for our team results in best long term success for our customers.
Our history
Dynamic Air Corporation (DAC) was founded in 1991 by Rick McGinley and Ed Henningsen on the principles of environmentally progressive and energy saving HVAC products. Air to air energy recovery was a key focus as it is today. DAC has also provided many innovative custom air handling solutions over the years. One of our first signature projects was providing (4) 140,000 cfm field erected air handling units for the New Boston Garden. Our third partner, Jim Shiminski came on board then to support that project and remains with the company to this day. Rick and Jim became the sole partners a few years later and the sales staff started to grow. DAC has always embraced the philosophy of vertical project management so each sales engineer follows the project from concept to final occupancy. The DAC staff grew to 11 several years later and DAC became an employee owned company.
Brad Carpenter became DAC President in 2019 and has lead a dramatic expansion with the addition of several sales engineers and a full local service division providing critical 24/7 support to our customers. Many projects are now critical path fail safe systems providing all of the heating and cooling for large laboratory and healthcare projects. Built on its founding philosophy, Dynamic Air (DA) continues to emphasize energy efficiency and sustainability in all of our projects and is built for long term steady growth.
